my stay was great! the room was small but very comfortable, with lovely woodwork and a fridge and microwave. the staff were pleasant, and having a nice restaurant next door was a fantastic bonus.

I loved the nostalgic vibe of the real brass keys instead of key cards. It felt like stepping back in time! The Alaskan lodge atmosphere was so cozy, with fine woodwork. Plus, having a delicious restaurant just steps away was the cherry on top of my stay!

The staff were really pleasant during my stay, and I appreciated the beautiful details in the room's woodwork and tile which added charm to the older hotel. being only about a 20-minute walk from Kenai Beach was perfect for my weekend strolls, and I loved visiting the nearby Old Town Kenai Park, where the peaceful environment made for a relaxing afternoon.

Clean rooms and great free Wi-Fi, but check-in took too long to resolve issues.

The bathroom left something to be desired. the shower head had some issues, making it feel more like a puzzle than a luxury. Also, the lack of an elevator could be inconvenient for those with heavy bags or mobility concerns. The door lock for my room felt slightly flimsy too, calling to mind security concerns I'd rather not deal with.

A can't-miss spot for tired travelers

Had a fantastic time at this place ! We got a king suite with a jacuzzi, and let me tell you, after a long day of fishing, that hot tub hit the spot. The breakfast at the restaurant downstairs was great, loved the decor and the food was just right, I could eat there every day.
